In 1936, on the 3rd of April, our company was founded by Fernand HERMANS in Antwerp. Starting in the basement of the family house of his mother, it was the size of the furnaces that couldn’t cross the door that pushed the company to move to industrial furnaces. The original name “Four électrique belge” became then “Four Industriel Belge” (Belgian industrial furnaces).

Today, the FIB Group serves no less than 60 countries across the world and covers sectors in the galvanizing of pieces, the steel wires but also the hollow glass and foam glass sectors.
