Galvanizing is a very important activity at DELCORTE. We have been galvanizing for 90 years. We decided to invest in a new galvanizing line. With FIB Belgium, we were able to customize a ceramic galvanizing bath with a longer lifespan than steel tanks, as well as higher temperature increases compared to a steel tank. This allows us to galvanize our parts more easily and provide the galvanized layer that meets international standards.

For the replacement of the furnace, what motivated us was the efficiency of the FIB Belgium furnace with immersed burners.
What we are looking for is the highest production per kW possible. With equivalent power, we can produce more. Moreover, FIB Belgium has been able to provide us with guarantees on the parts in contact with zinc. We hope to reduce the number of maintenance operations required.
The FIB Belgium system allows easy cleaning of the bath surface, as it is possible to remove the burners entirely. The surface is accessible and safe. That’s a plus!Éric Grégoire
